Washing

• Hand wash in cool water with a silk-specific detergent. Never wool wash, never fabric softener.
• Turn lace and tulle inside out. Fasten hooks so they cannot catch.
• Do not soak for more than a few minutes; silk releases dye if it sits.
• Rinse until the water runs clear. Press the water out; never wring.

Drying

• Roll in a clean towel to take the worst of the water out.
• Lay flat, or hang from the band, away from sun and heat. Silk dries quickly.
• Never tumble dry. Never dry on a radiator.

Pressing and storing

• If it needs it, press on the reverse with a cool iron while still slightly damp. Do not steam lace.
• Store flat, in the box it came in. Do not fold cups into each other; it breaks the shape.
• Give a bra a day between wears. Elastic recovers overnight.

Repairs

A hook, a strap, a slipped stitch: bring it in, or send it back, and we will mend it. Anything we made, we will look after.
